Proverbs 18-22

Proverbs 18:2
A fool finds no pleasure in understanding
 but delights in airing his own opinions.

Proverbs 18:22
He who finds a wife finds what is good
and receives favor from the Lord.

Proverbs 19:17
He who is kind to the poor lends to the Lord,
and he will reward him for what he has done.

Proverbs 19:18
Discipline your son, for in that there is hope;
do not be willing party to his death.

Proverbs 19:21  *I needed this one!!
Many are the plans in the man's heart,
but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails.

Proverbs 20:1
Wine is a mocker and beer a brawler;
whoever is led astray by them is not wise.

Proverbs 20:30  *This one I found disturbing????  Not sure what to make of it.
Blows and wounds cleanse away evil,
and beatings purge the inmost being.

Proverbs 21:9
Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.

Proverbs 22:1
A good name is more desirable than great riches;
to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

Proverbs 22:6
Train a child in the way he should go,
and when he is old he will not turn from it.
