Feb. 6 - Leviticus 26-27

Whoo Hoo!  Good bye Leviticus.  It's been interesting.  It's been disturbing.  I'm ready to move on.  I checked today to see when will I be reading about Jesus.  I want Jesus!  Yikes.....not until October.  I'm just struggling with the wrath of God.  Yesterday the "eye for an eye" punishments were introduced.  Rules for slavery were laid out.  (Really, God approved of slavery?)  And today further punishments for disobedience were discussed.  It was just hard to read.  It's braking down the stereotype of who I thought God is.  I'm not seeing the love right now.  Don't worry, I'm sticking with it.    Next stop, Numbers.
